I enjoy solving problems creatively, thinking deeply and out of the box to find ideal answers. My happy-place is working on applications in a full-stack context, in which I understand how features are implemented end to end. That way I can have impact on everything from the efficiency of server-side code to the visual user experience.

Coding and web development is a second chapter of sorts in my professional life, as I previously spent over a decade focused on building a career as a professional classically trained singer. Whether in learning music, studying physics for my bachelor's degree, or now coding, I've always enjoyed taking a process or problem and breaking it down into succinct steps. In particular I've found many parallels between reading music and code. In both cases you train your eye to catch details of syntax and learn to recognize higher-level patterns that map to big-picture processes and ideas.

Web development is also an outlet for the same creative impulses I direct toward music. I get to geek out on the details of the technology, but at the end of the day I'm building an application with a user experience people will respond to on a gut level.

Thank you for your message. I'll be in touch soon.
